Our journey so far has been paved with several milestones with the foundation laid in the 1960s.

The foundation

It all started with one man’s search for black gold, Pepper. It was the 1960s when Seth Kirorimal Agarwal moved from the interiors of North India to the unexplored shores of the Malabar coast.

Establishing a strong foothold

Singhal Brothers was founded by Seth Kirorimal Agarwal along with his son Shivkumar Agarwal, and for decades to follow, the company was one of the largest dealers of Black Pepper and other spices in India.

Strengthening the roots

From local trading and supplying to becoming a reputed exporter of spices, Singhal Brothers was doing it all, and it was at this time that the seeds to one of India’s strongest distribution networks were sown.

Diversifying offerings

Singhal Brothers also entered into structured commodity finance, financing the growers and farmers against their produce and derivatives, by trading in spices. The firm won many accolades, including several recognitions from the Spices Board, and was one of the largest exporters of spices from India.
